One has a healthy battery that just needs a simple BMS reset, but the other two have batteries that are so deeply discharged they read just a few volts. Follow along as I show you the meticulous, step-by-step process of reviving a seemingly dead lithium battery pack. We'll bypass the BMS to slowly and safely feed voltage back into the cells, individually balance them to resolve critical voltage differences, and explain the science behind why this process is so dangerous if done incorrectly. Finally, we'll perform the crucial software update that prevents this issue from happening again and test the fully reassembled unit to see if our complex repair was a success!
