In the end, both individuals were each charged with one count of possession of undersized yellowtail snapper. Charles pled no contest and his adjudication was withheld. He was ordered to complete a Florida Fish and Wildlife regulations course, pay $308.00 in costs and fees, and was not permitted to fish, dive, or be on the water until his probation was completed.
