They Were HIDING Dozens of Illegal Dungeness Crabs

The officer went into service and responded to investigate. According to the officer’s report, he ultimately concluded that all three individuals harvested and retained more than twice the daily bag limit of Dungeness crab, harvested and retained undersized Dungeness crab, and harvested and retained female Dungeness crab. He also determined that Gennadiy and Eduard failed to submit their catch for inspection and Vitalie harvested and retained without a valid fishing license. The individuals received a combination of misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor charges. While the court records are not publicly available online, we did call the court to get some additional information. We were told they negotiated a Stipulation Order of Continuance and they each paid a fine of $150.
