Video Description

​The USS Macon (ZRS-5) was a 785-foot-long rigid airship operated by the U.S. Navy in the early 1930s. Serving as a flying aircraft carrier, it carried up to five Curtiss F9C Sparrowhawk biplanes for scouting missions and defense.
