Cut two pieces of 1" X 6" Pine to 36 and edge glue using pipe clamps. 1:15 2. Use hand plane to smooth glue line. 1:32 3. Mark board to 9 wide using a tape measure and straight edge. 1:47 4. Use a rip saw to cut board outside of the pencil line, then edge plane to the marked 9 line. 2:19 5. Mark and cut one end of board square. 2:32 6. Square and cut 2 @ 9" X 9" 1 @ 9" X 16" 3:01 7. Use template to outline stool legs, making sure wood grain runs vertical. 3:22 8. Cut out legs, using a 1/2 drill bit for the inside radius. 4:57 8a. Cut dados using relief cuts and a chisel. 7:44 12. Drill counter sink holes in the stretchers. 8:21 13. Sand all pieces using 100 grit, then 180 grit. 8:24 14. Assemble stool using, 8 @ 1 1/4 #6 screws and glue. 9:12 15. Block plane the top of legs even with the top of stretchers. 9:26 16. Center top and scribe inside of stool. -Apply glue and attach top using 4 @ 2 1/4 # 6 10:03 17. Cut bungs using bung cutter and drill press. 10:21 18.
