For the first time we now have phase detection/contrast detection/lidar combined AF-C autofocus. We not only have fast and accurate tracking in continuous shooting, but we also get deep learning object recognition for human, animal and car detection. I've always considered the Hasselblad XCD cameras to be the highest optical quality available, and this update makes the system even better. The camera features 10 stops of IBIS which enable hand held shooting to 1-4 seconds depending on the focal length. The new rear screen is HDR compatible with 1400 nits of brightness enabling a complete end to end HDR imaging platform when combined with Phocus Mobile 2. This is the absolute best imaging system on the market right now. And the X2D II makes it even stronger.
