In this video I'm going to show you this new feature in padlet and I'm going to show you how we can use it to get our students to collaborate together in various different ways. the focus will be on setting up group work activities where students can discuss things together and then share their ideas onto their collaborative padlet. I think the feature in padlet that allows for collaboration makes it one of the best collaborative tools because students can either work individually or they can work in groups and access the padlet. one of the great things about the paddler is that you can actually share the padlets very easily by using a QR code or a link. if you want your students to collaborate and work together in groups and then share their ideas with the rest of the class this really is a serious alternative to other collaborative tools. in this video you will see me set up a collaborative public activity I will give you some great tips on how you can set the activity up either to be a written collaborative activity or the students could also record audio this means that it's an excellent tool if you're using it for language learning and you want students to record their answers so that they can practice speaking. many teachers don't realize that padlet works in audio form as well as in written form. One of the other good things about Padley is that it has some predefined templates that we can use and in fact one of the templates which is called breakout rooms is ideal for collaborative work between our students. this means that you don't even need to set the paddle it up you can simply choose breakout rooms and you've got yourself a collaborative activity or you would need to do is change the instructions and then your students can start working on collaborating and sharing their ideas into the padlet. #padlettutorial #padlettutorial #collaboration
