Video Description
The Fight Spectrum is a tool I made up in my first video titled "Why 90% of Fight Scenes Are Bad". It is used to analyze a fight scene based on the parties' strengths. This helps categorize every fight into one of four buckets: Fly Swatting, David Vs Goliath, Toss Up, and World Cup. From here I assign specific requirements to each bucket, and if the fight meets those requirements, it passes my test. In today's video, I will be going over the World Cup category. These fights occur when both sides of the fight are of equal strength or skill, and they are reserved for a story's strongest characters. I use examples from Kill Bill Volume 1, Transformers One, Hunter x Hunter, and Jujutsu Kaisen Manga. #gojovssukuna #hunterxhunter #transformersone #fightscene #writingadvice This video is a critique protected under fair use. All clips used are transformative as they accompany my commentary and are therefore within my legal rights to use.
