And I’m not on statins. If that shocks you, you’re not alone. These levels rival those found in people with a one-in-a-million genetic disorder that causes early heart disease. But I don’t have that condition. Instead, I represent a distinct and misunderstood metabolic phenotype known as the lean mass hyper-responder.
