This time I'm looking at a Pioneer CLD-D406 LaserDisc player. Some viewers had suggested that I take a look at one of these, and after finding a local used book store that had lots of cheap LaserDisc movies I decided to give it a shot. Because I wanted to use this player for myself, I chose one that would play both sides of the disc thanks to its clever flip-over pickup. The fault appeared to be a loading belt problem, and while that was true it ended up being a far bigger ordeal than I expected. Outro music: Calvary by TrackTribe
