CMS announced the 2026 Medicare cost updates for Medicare Parts A and B and, surprise, surprise… they went up. Part A saw increases in the 3.5% range. Part B saw increases in the 9.7% range. Given that the Social Security Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) was only 2.8%, these Medicare increases are concerning to say the least.
