This is not rocket science, nonetheless, I hope that sharing my simple yet actionable tips will be of use to anyone who is curious about embarking on their own skin treatment journey using topical retinoids (be they prescription or OTC), as well as serve as encouragement to stay the course and be patient & consistent with healthy skin-promoting habits. Dramatic results, in my experience, take time; at LEAST a year (at LEAST - I really cannot overstate this or repeat this enough)!!! But it's also been my experience that putting the proverbial drop in the bucket, over the years, has been well worth the relatively minimal effort in comparison to the eventual outcome (in other words, it's been SO WORTH IT). I also continue making these videos to serve as a visual representation of what a dedicated skincare regimen including tretinoin in the evening and sunscreen in the morning, daily, looks like after 2+ decades. With so many people nowadays participating in extreme "beauty enhancement" measures, I think there is value in showing what topical-only skin treatment can yield. So I always want to encourage people that you needn't do those invasive, trendy aesthetic procedures to get healthy-looking, youthful, glowing skin.
