Simply type /meet anywhere in the Notion workspace, and you'll find a new block that can automatically record and transcribe any audio and then summarise it based on your instructions. The most obvious use case for this is, of course, to use it as a meeting note taker and record your calls, but the block can do more. It records any spoken or system audio. So you can also use it to quickly journal your thoughts or to have it transcribe any kind of media that is playing on your computer. Combine that with the fact that it creates a concise summary that you can guide through a notes section, and you have a really powerful new Notion block. And that's not all. This update is only one part of Notion's big AI for Work release. You also get a new AI section in Home, the ability to chat directly with the latest models from ChatGPT or Claude and even a dedicated research function that works similarly to Deep Research on ChatGPT or Perplexity's more advanced research queries.
