The first update is a hardware acceleration that improves the Orin Nano’s AI performance by over 70 percent. But it’s the second “upgrade” that makes this package more attractive to makers. The second “upgrade” is a price reduction—in fact, the price was halved. The NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super Developers Kit now retails for $249 USD. This is the same 8GB version of the Orin Nano that used to retail for $499. It has a powerful CPU and a GPU with 1024 NVIDIA CUDA cores, making it a little AI powerhouse. Today, we will examine the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano and its features.
