One Year Update Owning My Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2!

👋 After one year of owning my all time dream car, let's talk about what it's like been owning the 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2! While my first week was less than ideal and I spent 4 months working on it. The last 8 months have been a blast! The Gallardo packs a raw driving experience with the V10 engine and a single clutch transmission. I love the intoxicating sound of the naturally aspirated V10 and it is so addicting to accelerate and let the engine roar! It hasn't been that expensive to keep the Gallarod on the road with annual insurance costing $1,500, annual property tax being $1,300 and my DIY oil change being $100. I do a set of tires but those should last me 5 years. 8 hours is about the longest you'd want to spend driving the Gallardo since it's pretty raw and has stiff seats. So anything less than that is a blast! I do find it to be a nice car to drive and be in with just enough tech and storage to be usable in today's world. The Gallarod gets a good amount of attention but not all too crazy. Everyone I've encountered with the Lamborghini Gallardo loves seeing it, taking photos and videos and asking about it. So it's a good sweet spot of an exotic supercar. I don't have plans to sell it any time soon, but other life goals will dictate if it makes sense in a few more years. Building our next house is something I'd sell it for. Or maybe if I needed back seat space I'd go GT3 Porsche and do a back seat kit for practicality. But overall in 5-10 years once I want a bit more refinements a Huracan Tecnica would be the next car. I certainly enjoy driving the Gallardo a lot and it is such a cool car to own and drive! Have had a fun 4,000 miles in my first year!
