👋 Now that I have owning my 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 for 2 whole years! Let's talk all about what it's been like living with the Lambo! I've been pretty consistant with driving the Gallardo. Plenty of car shows, mountain road trips, exploring and even daily driving. I've put about 8,000 miles total on the Gallardo in the last two years and it's been a very easy car to own. I do the maintenance myself and the oil change is only about $150. Had once oil temperature sensor that needed replacing which was only $300 and thats it! The Gallardo has been very reliable too. I've had a ton of fun driving this car in every circumstance and it's just a joy. The V10 sounds amazing and no matter the day, driving this car gives me such a good feeling. However you may be shocked by this... Unfortunately being a 2 seat sportscar, now that we are a family of 3, the Gallardo has become a 'me' car. My wife hasn't been in the car since our daughter was born. So I'm finding that the Gallardo might not be ideal for this phase of life. Doing roadtrips and adventures with my wife has probably been the best part of owning this car. We've has so much fun together in this car and I adore owning it. But as life evolves, the cars will change too! I've already put a deposit on my dream dad car and next spring I'll be taking delivery of one of my absolute most favorite cars! New car has back seats and I've ordered it in a custom paint to sample color with a unique color interior and carbon fiber bucket seats! At that time I'm about 99% sure I'll be selling the Gallardo. that will be a sad day, but I know I'll have more fun in a car that can fit the whole family. So it makes sense for the next few years as we work more on family goals. But once I can but the car seat in a front seat, I'll be back in a V10 car for sure! But I Iove owing the Gallardo and it's just such a thrilling car to drive with it's old school character and mechanical drivetrain! Highly recommend buying one of these!
