Open Plan Transformation Part 5 – New External Doors, Fireplace Redo & Hidden TV Access!

We’re finally getting so close to completing our dream open-plan space! This week, we’re opening up the new doors from the outside — a huge step in transforming this room into something truly special. It’s a slow and careful process as we cut through the brick wall, clean and save each brick for future arches and wall repairs — every detail matters in this restoration. Borja’s reaction when he sees the new opening for the first time is priceless! We’ve also outsourced the plastering this week (a massive time saver), finished repointing the faux wall inside the fireplace with traditional lime mortar, and given the whole room a fresh coat of paint. Dean has come up with a clever hidden access for the back of the TV — and we’re testing out The Frame TV to see if he can convince Borja it belongs in the space!
