Last week, we came out to this home after a neighbor reached out, worried about the man who lives here. His yard had gotten severely overgrown, and while we were able to take care of the front, the man inside never came to the door. We left with more questions than answers. Well, today we’re back for week two, this time to tackle the backyard. And right away, his neighbor let us know she still hasn’t seen him or heard from him. That raised our concern even more — but we decided the least we could do was continue helping by clearing the yard. It didn’t take long before we realized just how challenging this backyard was going to be. The grass was thick, the weeds were towering, and the place looked like it hadn’t been touched in years. But about halfway through, we stumbled across something that stopped us in our tracks — a major water leak flooding the yard. And in that moment, our concern for this man grew even deeper. Out of caution, we made a call we’ve never had to make before…and before long, the police showed up at the door. This yard was full of mystery, but the neighbors were extremely helpful along the way.
