In this video, I share my personal experience with the growing hate around AI (and how it feels similar to the crypto hype era), why the noise is so frustrating, and the real question: is AI actually useful? Then I show the practical ways I use AI in my day-to-day work: - Explaining confusing scripts (like a complex root package.json) and answering follow-up questions (e.g., why a repo uses Nx) - Quickly making open-source examples look nicer (styling/UI polish) without spending hours on it - Automating my publishing workflow: transcript generation, YouTube title/description/tags, chapters, social posts, and even a blog post—generated from the video with a single prompt The takeaway: don’t tie AI’s usefulness to the annoying hype cycle.
