Welcome to nearly 12 hours of warmth in a snow white winter, presented by the Campfire Experience and creator Robin Lund. As you can see from the start of the video, the snow is extremely deep. The landscape is fully covered in fluffy white. It is nippy at negative 10 Celsius (14° F), there is so much magic with snow in this temperature. While the snow mutes the ambience, every step is an explosion of creaky sounds and smells that isn’t covered by the snow blanket becomes very prominent. After I started recording, a Sámi reindeer herder drove his flock past nearby. So the audio has some shouting, bells ringing, dogs barking. I also tried out a new purchase, the Tascam DR-07XP field recorder. For the first and last time, I will sell it as soon as possible (sorry for the experiment). Enjoy!
