Welcome to my channel! My name is Martin and this is an aviation channel. I started taking pictures of planes in 2005 and in 2011 I tested the video function of my new DSLR camera. I uploaded the video on youtube just for fun and it reached almost 3 Million views. (crosswind landings). As a result I decided to concentrate on making videos of planes. I was very surprised by the hugh amount of feedback I received within the past four years. I never thought I could reach such a hugh amount of people just by sharing my passion on youtube. On this channel you can find Aviation videos, made by myself. My "homebase" is Düsseldorf but I like to travel around a lot. That` s why I also upload videos from St. Martin, St. Barth, Skiathos, Amsterdam and other airpots which offer interesting oportunities to create interesting footage. I prefere to make videos of rare planes like Ilyushins, Tupolevs, old Boeings and classic Douglas planes.

Low landings and jetblasts at St. Maarten and Skiathos, probably the most amazing planespotting locations worldwide. The Boeing 747 of KLM which used to fly over Maho Beach at St Maarten frequently is sadly not operating anymore. Nowaday there are no Boeing 747` s anymore at St Maarten and the biggest aircraft which operates to the caribean island is an Airbus A330, operated by Air France and KLM. My second favorite airport is Skiathos which is also shown in this video. The greek island is famous for the road which is located right behind the runway. All aircraft have to cross this road and it` s always spectacular to watch planes land at Skiathos Airport. The Boeing 757 is not operating anymore mainly due to the fact that most airlines reitred them and replaced them with Airbus A321.
