Study Reveals Stromboli Tsunami Makes Evacuation Impossible A 2025 scientific study published in Frontiers in Earth Science revealed alarming data: the Stromboli volcano can generate a tsunami that reaches inhabited areas in less than three minutes, making evacuation impossible.
