You'll discover how the motor coach has evolved since the turn of the century from the Great War charabanc to the super coaches travelling Britain's roads today. You'll learn about the independent express operators such as Greyhound, Red and White, and Ribble who joined together to form Associated British Motorways which operated out of the UK's second major hub at Cheltenham where a mass interchange of coaches travelling to every part of the country took place at 2pm every day on the ring of a bell. The programme features interviews with coaching experts, preservationists and operators.
