#JurassicWorldEvolution3 #ad Large, formidable and with jaws strong enough to crush through bone, Tyrannosaurs at the end of the Cretaceous period were some of the most formidable animals you could have ever come across, especially if you were a small hapless dinosaur, but, like any animal, they didn’t start out this way! Tyrannosaurs and how they grew up is something of both much intrigue, but also vigorous debate, much of which has made it a rather intimidating and challenging side of paleontology to get into. This is largely due to the scarcity of material, with the more frail remains of smaller animals being more difficult to preserve, with the selectivity of the fossilisation process generally favouring animals that have a good bit more heft on them, and can therefore remain more intact as their remains degrade.
