After experiencing the cities of Istanbul and Izmir, we picked up a hire car and hit the road — and this day exploring Çeşme and its surroundings turned out to be one of the best yet. We started the afternoon at the picturesque harbour in Çeşme before heading south to explore the stunning white cliffs and hidden beaches at sunset. The next morning we made it to the famous Ilıca Beach with its clear, shallow waters, and wrapped up the day at Delikli Bay — an unbelievable spot with natural stone arches and some of the clearest water we've ever seen.
