Video Description

This 1940s Danish bread slicer (Raadvad guillotine) came to me in terrible condition. The cast iron was cracked, one leg was missing, the blade was rusty, and the wooden board was split and full of nail holes. Even worse, the thickness adjuster and several screws were gone. This project was more than a simple cleanup — it turned into a full rebuild. I had to use casting, welding, machining, nickel plating, sandblasting, powder coating, blade sharpening, woodworking, and laser engraving to bring it back. After three weeks of work, this iconic bread slicer is finally functional again. Don’t miss the final test: slicing through a fresh loaf of bread — the guillotine works perfectly, just like it did 80 years ago. 🔧 No voice-over, pure restoration ASMR! 🎧 Quality sound for full relaxation! 📜 A piece of vintage history, carefully restored!
