In particular, we show how, based on current trends, AI will likely become AGI (Artificial General Intelligence), which in turn will be able to aid with AI progress and self-improve, leading to ASI (Artificial Superintelligence) and ultimately to "God-like" AI. Such AI will pose a significant existential risk to humanity. This video was made in partnership with ControlAI, a nonprofit that cares deeply about humanity surviving the coming intelligence explosion.
