This video is a small reminder that the most beautiful things in life are often the simplest - and worth holding on to. We spend so much time travelling and filming, but sometimes those precious days at home mean the most. It's those kind of moments that often pass unnoticed. No travel, no schedule - just being together, cook and appreciate the little things that make life feel grounded and real. _____ OMA'S QUARKKÜCHLEIN RECIPE: Ingredients 2 eggs 250g quark 125g flour 3 tbsp milk lemon zest 3 tbsp sugar ground cinnamon salt oil for frying Method Mix the egg yolks, quark, milk, flour, and lemon zest until smooth. Let the mixture rest for a little. Beat the egg whites until stiff, adding a pinch of salt and 1 tablespoon of sugar while beating. Gently fold the egg whites into the batter. Heat the oil in a frying pan to about 180°C / 350°F. Drop the batter into the oil by the tablespoonful and fry for 3–4 minutes, turning once during frying. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture.
