It’s a warm, humid fall day here in Alabama, but don’t let the sunshine fool you — we’ve got a winter storm headed our way with temps dropping into the low 20s. And as always… the animals were the first ones to let me know something was changing. Today’s video is full of those little farm moments that make this life so special — from the barn cats claiming their favorite winter window seat, to collecting eggs from the ladies who are deep in their molt, to letting Willie and Resca out into the big pasture. But the biggest surprise came when I checked on the deer plot and found the feeder knocked over — and I KNOW it wasn’t the wind. With the camera rolling and the cold front moving in, I followed the clues to figure out exactly what happened… and y’all, things got interesting! We also check on: 🐈 Biscuit, Sylvester & Bramble 🐎 Pocket and the horses 🐄 Moody, Mildred, Matilda 🦌 The deer visiting the feeder 🐕 Rocky, Bandit, and the whole “secret service” crew …and a special visit from Pink, our property-loving barn cat. Plus: Jason came to my rescue (again!) when I tried to refill the deer feeder on my own, and the deer camera gave us some amazing pictures of our nighttime visitors.
