《公視主題之夜SHOW》是一個從電影出發的公民論壇實境秀節目，每周五晚上十點在公視13台播出。我們每集都關注一個議題，會陪大家看一部電影或紀錄片，並且邀請關心這個議題的與談人和公民，以及電影中的導演或主角進行映後論壇。節目目的除了推薦世界各國製作的優質電影或紀錄片，並且延伸探索電影裡傳遞的主題與價值。我們期許這個節目成為一座橋，拉近台灣觀眾與各國紀錄片的距離，並在兩小時影像思辨旅程後，與世界多樣價值有更深的連結，開啟自我及世界的新想像。 《Theme Night Show》is a brand new two-hour program of Taiwan Public Television Service (PTS), which is run in a format of reality show and broadcast every Friday evening at 10 pm. Each episode selects and broadcasts a film or documentary, and followed by a post-screening discussion among the host, professionals and guest audience in the studio. Filmmakers of the documentary might also join the talk via online platform. The program aims to bring local audience with worldwide quality documentaries and provide all an opportunity for in-depth and critical thinking over social/international issues, opening a new vision for the world we live in.
