Recipes for this video: Out of this World Rolls: 2 pkg yeast 1/4 cup warm water 3 eggs beaten 1/2 cup melted butter 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup warm water 2 t salt 5 cups flour Soften yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Combine eggs, butter, sugar, warm yeast, and 1 cup water. Mix 2 1/2 cup flour, salt and beat in mixer until smooth. Add remaining flour until dough is tacky. Let rise for 1 hour. Punch down and shape. Let rise until doubled. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. I doubled this batch and split it into 4. Use this recipe to make the doughnuts, dinner rolls and cinnamon rolls. You can make Maple glaze with real maple syrup and adding a bit of maple flavor to your icing. Pie crust for one pie crust: Doubled this for apple pie. One stick minus TBL of butter chopped pinch salt 1 cup flour Mix in Kitchen aid until the butter in crumbled Add 6 TBL of ice water or just until the dough comes together. Fresh Apple Pie 6 cups thinly sliced apples 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup flour 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp cinnamon dash of salt 2 TBL butter Mix all ingredients into sliced apples. I froze my filling in gallon freezer bags. When its time to bake I will prepare the pastry. Let the apples thaw a bit and pour into the prepared pastry. Bake at 400 degrees for 50 minutes.
