Put a whole chicken with onion, carrot and celery in the pot and fill to the max fill line with water. Soup ingredients 3/4 cup uncooked wild rice blend- cooking according to directions in small pot 1 cup chopped yellow onion 1 cup diced carrots 1 cup diced celery 2 TBL butter 1 large garlic clove, minced (1 1/2 tsp) Sauté all these ingredients Add 4 to 5 cups of hot chicken broth Boil until veggies are tender. Add 2 cups of chopped cooked chicken. In a separate dish add 1 cup of whole cream and 2 TBL of corn starch. Whisk. And add to boiling soup. Stir until thickened.
