RTVE estrena 'Carbón', un documental que aborda la situación de la minería de carbón en España y el contexto en el que se han producido los últimos accidentes mortales en Asturias. Es un retrato en profundidad del mundo minero asturleonés como nunca antes se había visto. Con testimonios directos y una cámara dentro de una mina en activo, se adentra en el presente de las explotaciones mineras de Asturias y León. Sin olvidar las consecuencias de su actividad, ni el incierto futuro industrial al que se enfrentan las cuencas. 'Carbón' también analiza las causas y el impacto del siniestro ocurrido en abril de 2025 en la mina de Cerredo, donde murieron cinco trabajadores.
