The driver, identified as Antwan Glover, was known to officers from prior encounters and was found to have a suspended driver’s license. Officers initiated a traffic stop, but the driver continued driving, fastened his seatbelt during the stop, and ignored repeated verbal commands. He eventually parked outside his residence on North Vermont Avenue, where he declined to place the vehicle in park or exit. After the situation de-escalated, officers explained that he had failed to stop as ordered and outlined the violations that led to his arrest. Following the arrest, a detective returned to the vehicle and conducted a search based on probable cause.
