The vehicle was linked to active warrants, prompting officers to locate and stop it outside a Family Dollar on Copley Road. The driver, identified as Jordan Ely, was found to have multiple active warrants and a suspended driver’s license. Officers also discovered a one-year-old passenger secured in the back seat. Due to safety concerns, Children’s Services was immediately contacted, and arrangements were made to release the passenger to an approved guardian. During a search of the vehicle, officers located a clear plastic bag containing a white powdery substance in plain view. A field test later indicated the substance was f******l.
