I start by bringing the old startrite band saw into the workshop, wiring a new plug onto it and checking it turns the right way. I bring the 150x100x6 box section in and cut it to the required lengths. The 114x6 tube is then also cut to length and then an angle is cut on one end. Next job is to cut the holes in the box section for the tube to fit through, this is done with the cnc plasma. The end caps for the tube and box section are also cut out on the cnc table. The frame can then be assembled on the work bench, tacked in place and then welded round. JCB Q fit brackets are welded onto the first frame. The second frame is assembled in the same process but this time Pin and cone brackets are made and welded on, the side plates for the brackets are cnc plasma cut from 12mm flat bar. Once both frames are made, the tubes are put through the box, squared up and tacked into place, gussets are cut out, again with the cnc plasma and tacked on. They are then welded round. Little wedges are needed on the top side of the tubes to stop the bags from sliding off, these are flame cut from 30mm plate using the magic eye profile cutter. The wedges are then welded on. Last job is then to wash off and paint. Red oxide primer then black top coat. Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed the video.
