In this series of videos I'm going to make a novelty pop-up box based on a box originally made by Hugo Peller. I'm not following any instructions directly from Peller, just using my preferred methods for making slipcases and clamshell enclosures. There is a good chance that many of the techniques I use will overlap with what Peller did, as what I do is very standard in bookbinding. There are some instruction online based on Peller's work, and I'll link to them below as well as any other useful links on this subject. I've broken this project into three parts - the slipcase, the trays, and finally the case and putting it all together. The specific glue I'm using is Evasol. I use the same ribbon but 3mm wide for registers/bookmarks. Just about any paper can be used for this.
