With autumn approaching, the weather shifting, and a few tasks we had put off now asking for attention, like our vegetable garden. We finally take the time to show you an update we filmed some time ago but never got to sharing. This week is all about small but meaningful tasks, such as clearing out the solar panels in the yard in preparation for a project we will soon need help with. We plan to reshape the steep walls behind the barns, where the excavation stopped and the hill begins, to soften the slope so no more soil erodes down. For that, we have asked someone with a much bigger excavator to assist us. We also get a bit of entertainment in town, take some time to clean up, and enjoy jumping in puddles with Odin, without the mud this time, thanks to the stones on the driveway. And finally, more trucks arrive with those same stones, because even though a lot of progress was made last week, the driveway is not finished yet.
