How to plant onions!⬇️ Onions can be a little tricky to plant, but with my growing tips I’m sure you’ll be successful 🙌🏼 🧅You’re clear to plant 2 weeks before your last frost date 🧅Create a cardboard spacer that’s 4” square 🧅Tease apart your seedlings so they can be planted individually 🧅Using your spacer, plant each onion seedling 4” apart on a grid. 🧅Bury your onion seedlings to halfway up the bulb portion. 🧅Water deeply and often! Onions have shallow roots and can dry out quickly. Mulching can help, too! 🧅Harvest when most of the tops fall over and cure for a week before storing (don’t worry - I’ll have another video this summer on how to do this part 🙌🏼) Are you growing onions this year?
