This is my version of “rich.” The true luxury in life.   My eyes started to open over a decade ago, and I can’t even begin to tell you how much better I feel since letting go of the fast-paced modern world of convenience.   Yes, some days are hard. Really hard. I’ve had to learn to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. But, I wouldn’t trade it for anything, and I can’t imagine going back.   While I know not everyone can quit their jobs and go disappear in the woods forever, here are some small changes to start the shift: 🚶‍♀️Go for a walk instead of doom scrolling over your lunch break 🌅Watch the sunrise instead of the news 🥘Cook from scratch instead of eating out ⛪️Spend Sunday mornings at church instead of being hungover in bed 🥦Start a small garden (or join a community garden if you don’t have a yard) 🦶Walk barefoot in the grass 🥾Go hiking instead of bar hopping 🧶Learn a hands-on activity like wood carving or crochet 📞Call a friend instead of scrolling on Instagram 📗Read a book instead of watching a movie 🐄Buy directly from small farms as much as possible   Thoughts?
