This is such an easy and nutritious snack to make, and it saves us SO much money! We eat it every day!   Venison Jerky Recipe ⬇️ 1 lb venison roast (top round or bottom round) - beef works, too! 1/4 cup soy sauce (organic and gluten-free is our favorite) 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp ground black pepper   1) Slice the roast into 1/4” thick slices and transfer to a bowl 2) Add the marinade ingredients and mix well 3) Cover and refrigerate 24-48 hours 4) Arrange slices on dehydrator trays and dehydrate at 155F until dry (4 hours is perfect for me) 5) Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 1 month (or vacuum seal and freeze for 6-12 months)   In this video, I used a 3lb roast and tripled the recipe. I ended up with 1 lb 3 oz of jerky, which would have cost a whopping $70 if I bought the same amount of grass-finished beef jerky. WILD! 🤯   Hunting on our own land has been a huge part of our self-sufficiency strategy and it’s really paying off! For just a $34 hunting license, we are eating like kings and I love having full control of what’s going into our food.   I also like to make ground venison jerky to use up some of that grind 🙌🏼 - I have that recipe published on my website. I’m always looking for new jerky recipes - share yours below if you have a good one! ✨
