Graduation Week: The End of Nursing School, Emotional Moments & Celebrations!

Hey friends! Welcome back to another vlog! I can’t even believe I’m saying this… but this was my graduation week—my very last moments of nursing school. This journey has been absolutely incredible, and I’m feeling all the emotions as it comes to an end. In this week’s vlog, I’m taking you through the celebrations, my final days in the hospital, and so many bittersweet moments as I close this chapter and step into what’s next. One of the most emotional parts of the week was reflecting on my preceptorship. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a more amazing preceptor—I’ve learned so much and will cherish this experience forever. And then… I had a moment that really hit me. My mom has written me a handwritten note almost every single day of nursing school, and I’ve saved them all in a little bag. Reading through them had me in tears—I feel so beyond grateful for all the love and support that got me here. I seriously couldn’t have done it without my people. Of course, no big week is complete without celebrating! I went out to some of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver—Nightingale (https://hawknightingale.com) and Blue Water Cafe (https://bluewatercafe.ca)—and let’s just say, the food did not disappoint. I also had a cozy homemade sushi night because honestly, I could eat sushi every single day of my life. I shared all our yummy meals, my get dressed with me moments (because cute outfits = essential), and just soaked in every special moment. Throughout the week, I also ran some errands, stopped by Always Sunny in Fort Langley(https://www.instagram.com/alwayssunny_shop/?hl=en) where I consign my clothes, and shared some of my current grocery store faves. Plus, I took you along for my go-to healthy bedtime snacks and exactly what I order when I go out for sushi—because you know I have my favourites! (My favourite sushi spot) This week was truly one for the books, and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.
