'She Knew': Entire Prosecution Closing In Alicia Andrews' Julio Foolio Murder Trial

Hillsborough County, Florida, Assistant State Attorney Michelle Doherty gave the closing argument in Alicia Andrews' trial over rapper Julio Foolio's murder today (Friday, October 31, day 8). This is her entire argument. Andrews wasn't one of the gunmen who shot Foolio in Tampa on June 23, 2024, but prosecutors say she helped plan his murder, including following him and staking out his locations, and is equally culpable, though they are not seeking the death penalty against her like they are against Chance, Davion Murphy, Rashad Murphy and Sean Gathright. Investigators say two gangs — ATK and 1200 — joined forces to take out Foolio, who was a member of the 6 Block gang and a big celebrity in Jacksonville because of his ventures in the dark and violent genre of drill rap, which celebrates violence and mocks death. ATK stands for "Ace's Top Killers," and its most influential member is rapper Yungeen Ace. They stalked him, they found him, they targeted him, and they gunned him down. That is the only reason all five of those individuals were here in Tampa, Florida on June 22 and then the early morning hours of June 23 of 2024. The defendant, Alicia Andrews seated over there, along with her fellow co defendants, her fellow co conspirators, Rashad Murphy, Davion Murphy, Sean Gathright, and her boyfriend Isaiah Chance. That is the only reason they came down to Tampa was for that one specific purpose, to hunt and gun down.
