Woman Testifies About Hearing Gunfire That Killed Julio Foolio

A 22-year-old woman charged in Florida rapper Julio Foolio's murder testified today (Friday, October 31, day 8 ) that she heard a lot of gunfire that night but didn't know if anyone had bene shot. Alicia Andrews said she looked at her boyfriend, Isaiah Chance, with her mouth open after the gunfire, but he didn't say anything to her. 01:43 "Do you give him the phone?" "Yes." "Yeah, I was pregnant at the time, so I didn't want to smell any smoke and prevent like, any health issues." 07:58 "Who decided to go to the second spot?" "He picked it." 11:34 "Did he say anything about Julio Foolio?" "No." "Did he show you a firearm or anything like that?" "No." "Did he say anything about wanting to kill Julio Foolio in front of you?" "No." 13:05 "Were you able to see Julio Foolio?" "No." "Do you know that he's even inside?" "No." 15:20 "I mean, he started to act weird. I'm like, where are we going?" 22:54 "Yeah, I heard shots," Andrews said. "Alright, tell me about the shots that you heard," Andrews' lawyer Jeremy McLymont said. "It was like a lot, and I looked at him like my mouth open like, like you heard that? But he didn't really pay attention to me. He like what? So I didn't say anything." "After that, what happens?" McLymont asked. "He waits a little bit, then he drives off back to the Airbnb," Andrews answered. "Alright, at this point in time, what's going on in your head?" McLymont asked. "I mean, I heard a lot of shots, so I didn't know whether somebody shooting in the air, somebody got shot at. I didn't know," Andrews answered. "Did you know that somebody died?" McLymont asked. "No," Andrews answered. "Did you know that someone got shot?" McLymont asked. "No," Andrews answered. Andrews also testified earlier about Chance physically abusing her throughout their relationship, and jurors saw photos of her bruised face. Andrews wasn't one of the gunmen who shot Foolio, but prosecutors say she helped plan his murder, including following him and staking out his locations, and is equally culpable, though they are not seeking the death penalty against her like they are against Chance, Davion Murphy, Rashad Murphy and Sean Gathright, Investigators say two gangs — ATK and 1200 — joined forces to take out Foolio, who was a member of the 6 Block gang and a big celebrity in Jacksonville because of his ventures in the dark and violent genre of drill rap, which celebrates violence and mocks death.
